Brooklyn Bunny was inspired by our former pet
rabbit "Bun." He lived with us for many years in our
Greenpoint, Brooklyn apartment. After his passing in
February of 2005, we thought that we may never get
another pet. Several months later, we thought it may
be a good idea to start a rabbit sitting service. In the
middle of setting up our website, we received an email
from a friend with a photo of the cutest white bunny
who needed a home. We were offered a weekend
bunny test-drive. Our door bell rang and the rest is
history.
Roebling is a rabbit. He was rescued by
a veterinarian when a couple brought him in to be put
to sleep because they bought a dog. He is now living
large with full access to an 1000 square foot loft
via the Brooklyn Bunway™. Depending on our stock
of supplies, each day he is served up options of
Quaker Oats, , fresh organic romaine lettuce,
fresh water, and sometimes, even peppermint tea.

Kevin Dresser and Kate Johnson share their love
of animals and design. They met while working next
door to each other at different design firms in Manhattan. They currently own and operate the
design firm, , which specializes in
corporate identities, digital font design and also has a
store which carries the Brooklyn Bunny .
